Japanese Barbecue Sauce

My boyfriend just told me this week that he love a dipping sauce that his friends in Japan used to serve him. Based on Red Miso Paste, he remembers it was spicy. After some research in the internet here you are:

4 spoons of Red Miso Paste

4 spoons of Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)

2 spoons of sugar

5 spoons of Sesame Oil

Today I did not have the Gochujang and I substitute with Harissa Paste. It worked well.

Just put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Ready to serve!

It is delicious with Barbecue, bread, vegetables,….

Enjoy!

PS. Forgot to make the picture…. I added a picture of my second sauce. Will bring it today to a family BBQ.
