This is a dessert that is very easy to do and always tastes divinely. I remember when I was a kid I loved it.
Ingredients:
1 roll of Puff Pastry
some nice Apples, I prefer Golden Delicious
2 eggs
some cream
5gr sugar
Just cut the apples in wedges of similar size. As I am doing apple tarts quite often, I offered myself the luxury of a gadget. An apples slicer. I enclose you the picture. You just put the slicer well center on the top of the apple and push down. Here you are with 12 nice wedges. Now that we have the apples ready, put the puff pastry in a baking tin and with a fork punch the whole puff pastry bottom.
Some people like to put some grated hazelnuts on the bottom, even if it is typical swiss, I do not like it too much and I skip it.
Distribute the apples nicely.
Now mix the egg with some cream and the sugar with a whisk.
Distribute on the tart and put in the preheated oven at 220°C until it’s starting to get a nice golden-brownish color.
You may want to sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. If I may suggest, a nice glass of Port wine would be great with it.
Enjoy!
It look delicious!
