If you ever visited Japan and know Yoshinoya you may have developped a taste for this dish. Is actually quite a simple one but delicious.
If you have a craving and you are not in Japan, here the recipe.
Ingredients for 2:
2 bowls of cooked japanese rice
2 eggs
200gr of Beef cut in thin slices (preferably a rib eye cut)
1 onion
150ml soup stock
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
Shichimi Togarashi
First of all put a pan full of water to boil. Then catiously add the 2 eggs. After 3o seconds, take the pan away from the fire and let rest 3o minutes.
Cut the onions in wedges. Mix the soup stock with the soy sauce and the mirin and bring them to boil in a skillet. Add onions first and after 2 minutes the beef.
After another 2 minutes it’s ready and you can top your rice bowls.
Crack the eggs open on the top and turn them upside down on the beef bowl and carefully let the egg slide out.
Spice on top with Shichimi Togarashi.
