Chicken Teriyaki – very easy recipe

A very quick and easy recipe


Chicken – I used 2 breast filet but would be better to have the skin on, just poke it with a fork

2 spoons of soy sauce

2 spoons of mirin

1 spoon of sake

some oil to cook.


Mix the soy sauce, the miring and the sake and put onto the chicken. Let the marinade work for half an hour.

Put some oil in a hot pan and put the chicken in it. Leave it a couple of minutes each side until golden (if you have a skin, start on that side and add 1 minute).

Add the marinade and when it starts to boil, turn down the heat. Put a lid on the pan and let cook for another 5 minutes.

The sauce should have thickened in the meanwhile and it should be ready to serve.

I prepared some basmati rice, some eringi mushrooms and some greens.
